Automatic Control for Diesel, Gas, Propane, and Electric Water Pumps

The Platypus Controller monitors ambient air temperature to automatically activate compatible water-supply equipment for the sprinkler system.

  • User Settings:

    • Activation temperature: adjustable up to 140°F.

    • Run time: programmable up to 60 minutes.

    • Pause interval: programmable up to 60 minutes.

When the ambient temperature rises above the user-set threshold, the system activates and runs for the specified duration. After the run time expires, the system pauses for the programmed interval and reassesses the temperature. If the temperature remains above the set point, the controller restarts the system. This cycle repeats until the ambient temperature drops 35°F–40°F below the activation point.

Throughout operation, the controller can send SMS status updates* to designated phone numbers, providing real-time information about system activity.

An EVAC Button allows the user to manually activate the system before leaving the property, running for up to 60 minutes before automatically returning to Auto Mode.
