The Solenoid Valve is a two-way, semi-direct lift valve that operates in a normally closed position, providing precise and dependable flow control for a variety of media including hot water, air, gas, diesel fuel, Freon, weak acids, and alkalis.
Built with a heavy-duty solid brass body, the valve is engineered to perform reliably in demanding environments. It is available in 1-inch, 1.5-inch, and 2-inch female NPT threaded sizes to accommodate a range of installation needs.
Featuring Viton® rubber seals, the valve maintains excellent durability and chemical resistance, operating across temperatures from 15°F to 250°F and pressures up to 90 psi (6 bar). Its 12V DC coil with ±10% voltage tolerance offers rapid actuation (<1 second) for efficient operation controlled by the Platypus Controller.
Installation is straightforward with a 5-inch wire lead for easy connection and a flow direction indicator for accurate setup. The valve can be mounted in any position and is suitable for low-viscosity fluids under 20 cst, making it a versatile and high-performance component in automated wildfire defense systems.
